What is Cereon?
Cereon is an AI voice memory companion and personal knowledge management app ('second brain'). It records your voice notes, transcribes them into searchable text with speaker detection, extracts summaries and action items, and connects related thoughts into an interactive visual knowledge graph.
Does Cereon record my voice in the background?
No. Cereon only accesses your microphone on-demand when you explicitly initiate a recording by tapping the record button. It never listens passively or runs background audio monitoring.
Are my voice recordings used to train public AI models?
Never. Cereon does not use your private voice notes, transcripts, or personal memories to train, fine-tune, or improve public foundational AI models. Your memories are processed solely to provide memory services for your individual account.
How does 'Ask Cereon' work?
Ask Cereon allows you to ask questions in plain conversational language across your entire memory archive. It uses semantic vector search to retrieve relevant memories and synthesizes grounded answers with direct citations to the source audio and notes.
What is the Knowledge Graph feature?
The Knowledge Graph automatically maps the connections between topics, projects, people, and ideas mentioned in your memories. You can interactively pan, zoom, and tap on nodes to explore how your thoughts connect over time.
Can I upload pre-recorded audio files?
Yes! You can upload audio files up to 100 MB in popular formats including WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, and FLAC for transcription and second-brain organization.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All data transmitted between the app and servers is secured with TLS 1.3 encryption. On Android devices, authentication tokens are protected using hardware-backed AES-256-GCM encryption in the Android Keystore.
How can I delete my data or account?
You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data in the app under Settings > Privacy & data > Delete account, or online at https://cereon.app/account/deletion. Cereon does not currently offer separate Settings controls to bulk-delete all audio, all transcripts, or search history while keeping your account.
